Susan Cowe Miller:
When my daughter moved to Australia I decided to offer Bed and Breakfast to help ease the costs of all my visits. My husband and I work from home so it was a perfect opportunity to smarten the rooms and take it from there.
I spent many years as a primary teacher and I now practice as a Health Coach, Holistic and Emotional Healing; a bit of a turnaround. I specialise in finding the root cause to a chronic health condition, and work to reduce stress, anxiety, and emotional trauma. EFT Tapping, Matrix reImprinting and improved physical health. I am also an author and my book ‘Survive and Thrive after Trauma‘ gives insight regarding the career change.
Herb Miller:
Herb retired from IBM and now works as a self-employed Web Developer. I call him, affectionately, a deep geek. Post retirement work at Bobbing Wide constitutes the development of WordPress plugins; Oik plugins and building and developing websites.

Interaction with Guests
We ask that you to do the Covid check-in on arrival. (Not at the moment).
Sanitizer is of course available and we keep interaction to a minimum, however we are happy to chat, share our knowledge of the area and generally to enjoy finding out about our travellers.
Herb is a local boy (I am Scottish) so knows the area inside out and should be able to help with any questions, especially cycling routes!
We will be present at the listing when guests stay.
We have a cat called Bramble: his brother Marmalade is no longer with us.
The Neighbourhood
We are 10 minutes from the coast and a 5 minute walk to our golf club.

Offer a caption. What is Bramble thinking?
Susan was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and cosy and provided everything I needed. Breakfast was generous with fresh fruit and plenty of choices. I will be sure to stop in again if I am working in the area!
